Photographer, Erik Almås, is contributing with fundraising for Rebuild Nepal by donating signed prints from the amazing Leila Hafzi photoshoot in Nepal and 2 photography workshops. Watch the video & read more below about how you can help by buying one of the pictures or workshops.
«Most of you are already aware of the earthquake that happened in Nepal many months ago and how devastating it was. I was recently approached by Leila Hafzi, who is one extraordinary being and talented designer who pursued a career in fashion in Nepal. She has an eco-conscious, organic company making beautiful garments in Nepal. Sadly, more than half of her factory workers are still without a home; they are living with families or in shelters.
Leila recently reached out to me and asked if there was anyway to help these families rebuild their homes and I said, ‘Of course’.
As you see below, the images below was the first shoot I worked on with Leila and we shot in Nepal. I feel that these are some of the strongest work that I have done in years and I have a stronger connection with these than any of my other pictures.»
There are three ways you can help. In your donation comment section please state one of the following choices:
1-to-1 Workshop - $2000 (only 2 available)
1 day of my time at $2000 a day. I will travel anywhere in the US or in Norway and spend the day with you, we can shoot, retouch, I can give a lecture to a group or whatever photography tutorial you need.
Gift of Giving – Any amount
I hope you can join me in this effort to help the people of Nepal.
With tremendous gratitude I thank you for considering this donation to help rebuild homes for these factory workers.
